In 2012, founder Mike Brown created the formula and roasting process for Death Wish Coffee. He wanted a strong, bold and smooth cup, made with high-quality arabica and robusta beans that are roasted to bold, never-bitter perfection. We disrupt the status quo, creating edgy, sarcastic content as we live to rebel against blah beans—and a boring, lackluster life.

Our medium roast ground coffee is made lighter than our dark roast, yet still more bold and powerful than your average cup. Roasted to a lighter shade of bold, it boasts notes of caramel, peanuts, apricot and milk chocolate to help you function and feel alive every day. The medium roast is less acidic and smooth, making it an ideal breakfast blend for those needing a light brew without sacrificing the Death Wish caffeine kick.

Grown in higher altitudes, our organic coffee medium roast is flavorful, aromatic and bold, providing your ideal coffee companion to fuel your passion. We typically recommend using 2.5 Tbsps. of coffee for each 6oz of water, but feel free to adjust based on your usual brew method. For a full pot, a 1:10 coffee-to-water ratio is recommended.
